We're a family-owned and run shop & café, home to the world-famous Big Dicker and Little Dicker breakfasts, as well as 'build your own' options. Come and try them for yourself.
From breakfast and brunch to lunch, coffee, teas, and homemade cakes, there's plenty to enjoy here or take away. We're fully licensed, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.

A shop with a history, a story, and a warm welcome for the next chapter. The shop has served the Dicker since the 1840s. Generations of the Dunk family sold supplies from crates, measured them into blue paper cones, and delivered them by horse-drawn cart.
Over the years, the building has been home to a dairy, bakery, abattoir, and hardware shop. It also served as a Post Office from 1855 until its closure in 2008.
Today, we continue to sell locally produced goods and keep the village's history close. Browse the books of local interest in our bookcase, including a history of the Dicker, or explore our collection of local photographs and Dicker miscellany.
Come in, have a read, and sign our visitors' book. Leave your own little mark on our history.
Everyone is welcome

Our space is available to hire as well, for evening private events, club meetings, and family gatherings.
